Hook rack + storage module = Function²

The flocked hook ends are ideal for hanging scarves and coats. The individual hooks on the rack are affixed using magnets.

This equation adds up

Anything is possible. With five different storage modules this coat rack offers solutions for different requirements. Whether as a practical hat rack, write-on memo board or magnetic key holder – the modules are simply hung into the hook rack and as such extend their function. Both the rack and the storage module are available in different colours and can be exchanged and combined at will. The stable coat rack can carry a lot of weight.

Good to know

Even if we have focused on the archetypal standard in the hook rack, there are several special features concealed in the construction and production. Complex drill holes make the screws in the wall bracket disappear behind the hooks. The individual hooks are affixed magnetically in the rack. The ends of the hooks are individually flocked to protect sensitive textiles. This initially involves putting glue on the wood. Flocks bond to the glue and align perpendicularly in an electrostatic field.

Material Properties and Care
Rechenbeispiel Material properties and care

FU Black (birch plywood)

Material properties:

Several birch veneers are cross-glued, creating a material with a high level of dimensional stability. Generally our birch plywood panels are surface-coated or oiled. They are produced in Finland. The slowly-growing trees in the Finnish climate create fine-grain wood of consistently high quality. The following properties can occur: knot inclusions on the edge and possibly different edge colors (image 1), inclusions, glossy stripes or matt areas on the surface (image 2).

Cleaning and care:

Light surface soiling on the untreated edges can be removed using fine-grain sandpaper. Coated surfaces can be cleaned using a soft cloth with lukewarm water and a small amount of colourless washing-up liquid. Please only wipe oiled surfaces with a slightly damp cloth and as necessary treat with colourless oil.
